Wow…what an incredible tennis event sponsored by the Buffalo Bills and the Wilson family and many other local sponsors in the area including PHS Dental Implant Surgical Center, Key Bank, The University of Rochester Medical Center, Canfield & Tack and the Monroe County Sports Commission, Pittsford Federal Credit Union, Centra Financial Group, Great Northern Pizza Kitchen, Greater Rochester Chiropractic, Bev Dyminiski Interior Design, Tyler LaMar with Hunt Real Estate ERA/Columbus Division, Furniture Perfections, Clover Capital Management, Subway, Breugger’s, Davie Kaplan, Invisible Fence, Super Seal, Corryn Appraisal Services, Store To Door, Lange Design, Gordon and Chodak Accountants, Hayes Asset Management, and Lilly’s Whites.
Now in its 29th year, The USTA Pro Circuit continues to serve tennis both on the professional level as well as in the local community. During this tournament at TCR, some of the best talents in tennis were on the court as well as local tennis professionals. It is an opportuntity for the players to take the next big step and mature into the next generation of American tennis champions. For many of today’s top players, the USTA Pro Circuit is where they learned what it takes to be the best. Justine Henin, Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova and James Blake are just a few examples of circuit winners.
The USTA’s mission is to promote and develop the growth of tennis. These tournaments provide clinics, Pro-Ams, speaking at local schools, and giving back to the Community.

Pittsford, New York has a hospital. Pittsford has many medical professionals operating in a variety of specialties. Fundamental healthcare begins with an individual or family?s access to a general physician, call it a family doctor or for children, a Pediatrician and for women a Gynecologist. Certainly, for people like me, a good therapist; better yet, a Psychiatrist! But why is it that someone in Pittsford, New York cannot locate a physician that will take new patients?
CityBlog Pittsford, was struck by the frustration that was apparent in Susie Pena’s (a Pittsford, New York resident) post on May 9, 2007, which read as follows:
I have been here 1 year this June and have yet to find a doctor that will accept new patients. I am very discouraged that there is no avenue for new residents to find out who is available without a lot of labor intensive efforts.
Does Pittsford have a physician association or, does the hospital know of new physicians coming into Pittsford that are looking for new patients? It would behoove all communities to have some centralized service that maintains a list of physicians who can accept patients as either â€œnewâ€ or on a rotating basis until the new resident can establish regular healthcare.
